Airbnb Effect: Story of an “endangered” property / 3

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In a globalized world, tourists look for authenticity whatever the cost.
In april 2019, 83% of total Airbnb Listings were concentrated in the Unesco Zone, 17% only  in San Lorenzo, a middle-low income historical neighborhood. Places like this are very popular among platforms users for their alleged “authenticity”.Featuring quite low real estate values, these areas perform extremely well as extractive sites for short term rentals.
